Learning and Leisure Services

Learning and Leisure Services includes all education services, community information and learning (including community centres and libraries), and the sport functions that have not transferred to the recently-established leisure trust, North Lanarkshire Leisure Ltd.

The new service grouping aims to provide the highest quality services to all residents through nursery and school education , childcare, community learning and development, libraries and information provision, creative services, museums and heritage centres.  We will identify the learning and leisure needs of our community and using an integrated approach with NL partnership organisations we will deliver a wide range of high quality frontline services
