Welcome to a summary of the Property Services Division annual performance for 2006/07.
North Lanarkshire Council's aim is to provide high quality property, design and housing services to achieve sustainable communities, improved neighbourhoods and secure a good quality of life for all North Lanarkshire residents. This will allow the council to achieve best value from its properties, by identifying further surplus assets and improving the operating efficiency of existing assets.
The purpose of this summary report is to inform you of Property Services' performance over the previous year. It highlights the successes and achievements and also identifies areas where improvements to the service are required. The division continually strives to improve its performance and the quality of services that it delivers. You will see how the division aims to improve services in the year ahead and the targets that it sets.
The Council restructured its departments and committee structure into executive services from April 2007. As a result of this the Property Division now forms part of the new Corporate Services.
