Chief Executive's office

The Chief Executive is the North Lanarkshire Council's chief policy officer and head of paid service.  His office is responsible for the development of corporate policy, community planning, partnership with external agencies and performance Council wide.  The office also fulfils a co-ordinating role to ensure all departments work together and implement policies effectively.

The Chief Executive of the Council is Gavin Whitefield.  He is supported by an assistant chief executive, Russell Ellerby. Click on the links below for additional information.
