Supporting People: Mapping Supply

As stated in the guidance notes on the forms, it should be noted that information is being sought on those housing support services currently funded by Transitional Housing Benefit, Special Needs Allowance Package and Resettlement Grant. These services will form the bulk of those housing support services which will be eligible for Supporting People funding. Guidance on the precise range of services eligible for funding under Supporting People will be issued by the Scottish Executive following consultation. It will be important for providers to supply the requested information to ensure continuity of funding for housing support services, which is guaranteed until April 2006.

The following forms can be accessed through the "Download or Request by Post" box at the top right hand side of your screen:

• SP1 & SP1 (Part B) - These forms are for schemes where accommodation if provided as an integral part of the service or where there is a contractual arrangement between the accommodation provider and the provider for housing support.
• SP2 -
  • The SP2 (a) form applies where a groups of support staff cover to support identified tenants. This can apply to individual tenants or joint tenants in groups living arrangements.
  • The SP2 (b) form applies to supported living services where each person supported has their own discrete support staff team. This can apply to individual or joint tenants.
