The Supporting People Strategic Planning Group will monitor the Plan on an ongoing basis. This group will meet on at least a bi-annual basis and be chaired by North Lanarkshire Council's Social Work Department.
This will report to the Core Co-ordination group supported by the Supporting People Team.
The monitoring and reviewing of the Plan will be linked to the ongoing evaluation of existing and planning of new services.
Progress on implementation of the Plan will be reported to the respective departmental committees of the Council.
A comprehensive evaluation framework will be developed as part of the Action Plan. The planning process will be evaluated at the end of year 3 of the Plan.
To provide information and encourage accountability, North Lanarkshire Council shall produce an Annual Review Report that will outline progress in the implementation of 'Supporting People' services and an update of the spending plans of the Council.
