North Lanarkshire Council has commissioned Ironside Farrar to undertake a "Regeneration Masterplan" for Carbrain. This plan seeks to provide workable solutions to key problems related to the Carbrain environment; to improve the quality of life for residents. A Project Team has been established, led by North Lanarkshire Council, to manage this process. Reflecting the diverse issues being considered, the Project Team includes services across North Lanarkshire Council and external partners, such as Cumbernauld Housing Partnership.
The outcome of the Masterplan process will be a long-term action plan, implemented in phases and importantly, in partnership with residents. On the right of the screen you can download a number of designs, illustrating key proposals and issues.
Consultation events are taking place between March and May, to give residents the opportunity to comment on proposals. The next event is planned for Wednesday 28th May between 3-4 pm at both St Margaret's of Scotland Primary and Carbrain Primary Schools. Members of the Project Team will be at the school gates to gather your views.
Further information will be uploaded to this website as it becomes available. However, if you have any questions on this activity, please contact us using the details on the right of the screen.
