Freedom of Information

The introduction of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act, 2002 means that from 1st January 2005 members of the public have new rights of access to information held by local authorities in Scotland.  To help people understand which information is routinely available, each Council has to adopt and maintain a Publication Scheme listing the types of information that we produce and detailing how to get access to this information.
