Scottish Landowners Federation
The Scottish Landowners' Federation (SLF) represents the interests of landowners across Scotland. They support managed countryside access which allows the public access to land while allowing the landowner or manager to use that land for their own purposes.
National Farmers Union
The National Farmers Union (NFU) represents the interests of farmers in Scotland. The NFU is supportive of the principle of extensive countryside access and recognises the Government's commitment to creating a statutory right of access to the countryside. As the NFU represents landowners and managers, it supports structured or managed access in order to reduce potential conflicts between their members' work and the public who wish to use their land for recreation.
