Corporate Plan 2008 to 2012

Welcome to North Lanarkshire Council Corporate Plan 2008 to 2012.

The plan sets out what the council expects to achieve for North Lanarkshire and its residents over the next four years. 

It details five key themes which are structured around the services the council delivers.  Each key theme identifies a number of outcomes which will ensure the council reaches the vision it has for North Lanarkshire. 

Not only does the plan provide details of the strategic direction of the council and it also demonstrates the council's contribution to the achievement of national priorities. It informs the work of each of the council's services, and the work that the council undertakes in partnership with others.

The council has a commitment to provide value, promote inclusion and ensure equal opportunities through the delivery of the corporate plan.   Putting service and people first will allow the council to meet the needs of the local community and maximise the benefits of North Lanarkshire location creating a wealthy and successful area.
