Corporate Plan 2004-2008 - Introduction & Contents

The plan sets out our priorities for the next four years - what we want to achieve for the people and the area of North Lanarkshire.

The council is Scotland's fourth largest authority and intends to be the best.

The plan builds on the strengths of our last corporate plan which produced improved modernised services and we want the actions of our new plan to build on these improvements.

We believe the actions will help us achieve our ambitions to make the most of our location, meet local needs by providing good-value, high-quality services and create a wealthy successful area where everyone is treated equally.
