In North Lanarkshire the Community Plan and the Local Agenda 21 Strategy are integrated through the sharing of a common Vision and a set of Sustainability Indicators which comprises a shared integrated monitoring framework. Through sharing a common vision and a common monitoring system these two key documents demonstrate the necessary joined up thinking that is required to deliver a more Sustainable Community.
A Sustainable Community
For the purposes of this LA 21 strategy a sustainable Community follows the difinition used in The Scottish local Agenda 21 route Planner produced by COSLA. A sustainable Community is one where there is
