Welcome
Councillor McCabe welcomed all to the meeting, particularly to Anne Maria Smith, Jobcentre Plus, attending on behalf of David Collie, and to Paul Reilly, Audit Scotland who was attending in an observational capacity as part of the ongoing Best Value Audit review.
Item 1: Apologies
Apologies were noted from Crawford Kirkwood, NL Voluntary Sector; David Collie, Jobcentre Plus (represented by Anne Maria Smith); Liz Connolly, Scottish Enterprise Lanarkshire (represented by Andy McGuire); Colin Sloey and Tim Davison, NHS Lanarkshire; and Maureen McConachie, Regeneration Services.
From October 2007, David Collie, Jobcentre Plus, will be transferring to Glasgow district. He will be replaced on the NLP Board by Jim McGonigle, District Manager.
Item 2: Minutes of the last meeting (8 August 2007)
Agreed, with the following amendments –
John Walls represented Strathclyde Partnership for Transport at the last meeting.
Voluntary Sector Partnership Group infobase – the launch of this will be February 2009 (not 2008).
Item 3. Matters arising
Indicators Report - The intended report for submission to this meeting reviewing the Community Plan indicators for the 3 years 2004-2007 will be available for 3 October NLP Board meeting.
