The Scottish Youth Parliament was launched in 1999 and comprises nearly 200 elected young people aged between 14 and 25 years, who aim to be the collective national youth voice for all young people in Scotland.
The Parliament meets three times a year, discusses issues which affect young people across Scotland and tries to propose innovative and sometimes radical solutions to these problems and situations.
