New ward boundaries May 2007

In May 2007, the electoral ward boundaries within North Lanarkshire will change. Instead of the current 70 wards with 1 elected member, there will be 20 new wards with 3 or 4 elected members. 

Maps showing the area and extent of each of the new wards are available from the local government boundaries commission website.  Follow the link below, and then chose the option "maps" at the right hand side of the web page, clicking on it, then scroll down to North Lanarkshire, and choose the "fourth review maps". You will then be given the option to download maps of wards 1 - 20. (local government boundary commission website.)
