Disability Equality Scheme Annual Report 2006-2007

In North Lanarkshire Council we published our first Disability Equality Scheme in December 2006 complying with the terms of the Disability Equality Duty. Within our Disability Equality Scheme we set out how we would work to promote equality of opportunity, remove inequality and tackle the discrimination of disabled people in all that we do as a service provider (including education), regulator and employer. This Annual Report details the progress we have made in this first year.
