On 15 August 2007 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on carriageway resurfacing works) on the undernoted locations by reason of works being executed on or near those locations.
Location 1
Lynnwood Road, Newmains for its entirety
Location 2
Braedale Crescent, Newmains from a point 30m south-west of the extended western kerbline of Auchter Avenue, north-eastwards to the extended east kerbline of Mavisbank Street.
Location 3
Auchter Avenue for its entirety
Alternative routes: Not applicable in this instance
Vehicular access will be by arrangement with the contractor and pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
The Order, will come into operation at 0001 hours on Monday 27 August 2007 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Sunday 11 November 2007.
