Air Quality Monitoring Stations

North Lanarkshire Council has the following Air Quality Monitoring Stations:-

Automatic continuous real time analysers located at:-

• Main Street, Chapelhall  monitoring NO₂ and  PM₁₀
• Whifflet, Coatbridge monitoring NO₂ and  PM₁₀

Two mobile Air Quality Stations monitoring PM₁₀, NO₂ SO₂ currently stationed at:-

• Hirst Road, Harthill
• Constarry Road, Croy

Non-Automated Monitoring Stations:-

• Pb is monitored at the Civic Centre, Motherwell as part of theUK Ambient Metals Network
• SO₂ is monitored in Coatbridge as part of the UK sulphur dioxide and smoke survey
• NO₂ is monitored as part of the UK Nitrogen Dioxide Network.
