North Lanarkshire Council's Online Bill Payments service is the easy way to pay your council bills over the internet.
To use the service you must be running Microsoft Internet Explorer v5.0 or later. If you do not have IE5.0+, click on the link to the Microsoft website to download the latest version. |

What kind of bills can I pay?
The following types of bill can be paid:-
- Housing Rents
- Council Tax *
- Non-Domestic Rates (Business Rates)
- Community Charge
- Other Accounts eg Home Help, Education, Cleansing, Hall Lets, Housing Repair, House Insurance
* NB: All council tax payments made will go to the current year. If you require to make a payment to previous years, please contact your local office as detailed in the "Contact Us" box at the top right hand side of your screen.
What about privacy and security?
Our online payment service has been designed to ensure maximum security and confidentiality. When you make an online payment through NorthWeb, you will be requested to provide your personal contact details. If there is a problem or query with your transaction, this information will greatly assist us should we have to contact you. This personal information will be used for no other purpose and is subject to the Council's Data Protection registration and the NorthWeb Privacy Statement.
Actual financial transactions are hosted by Servebase, a third-party internet financial service which provides a secure environment to protect your transactions. Once your transaction has been completed and you move to another web page, you will receive a warning message advising that you will be redirected back to an insecure site. This should not cause concern - your credit/debit card information is NOT transmitted outwith the secure site. What kinds of cards can I use?
The following types of credit/debit card can be accepted:-
- Delta
- Mastercard
- Solo
- Maestro
- Visa Electron
Please note that you must make separate transactions for each card you want to use.
How do I make a payment?
Before continuing, ensure that you have a Reference Number for each bill being paid and please read our Online Bill Payments Guide.
NB: Payments made before 4.30pm will normally be credited to your account within two working days.
