To help people who own former Council houses, the Council has arranged a policy to provide building insurance cover. |

Building Insurance For Former Council Houses
- Standard cover with no excess
- Extension cover for Accidental Damage available with £50 excess
- Cover for loss or theft of keys under Accidental Damage
- Cover for subsidence subject to £1,000 Excess
- Insurance documentation is available in Braille, Large Print, Audio Tape and can be provided in other languages if requested.
- 24 Hour Emergency Helpline.
You Can Pay
Annually at
- Any North Lanarkshire municipal bank or cash collection office
- or any High Street bank
Monthly by direct debit at no extra cost
Payment hotline (we accept all major credit cards)
On-line bill payment service

North Lanarkshire Council's building insurance is optional. You can choose to obtain quotes from other insurance companies.
