Council Tax - Changes to empty property discount

The Council has responded to new legislation whereby relief on properties, which are second/empty home, previously receiving a 50% reduction, are now only entitled to a reduction of 10%.  The additional revenue gained will be use to supplement the funds made available to registered social landlords for the provision of new local housing.

Remember: If you are granted a discount and the circumstances that led to that discount alter, you must advise the Council.
