Paying Your Rent

There are a number of rent payment methods, designed to be flexible to allow you to pay the way that is most convenient to you:

In Person - at your local Cash Collection Office/Municipal Bank or Post Office - where you can pay by cash, cheque, or credit/debit card.

By Post - Cheques or Postal Orders should be made payable to North Lanarkshire Council and sent to your Local Housing Office.

By Direct Debit - click on the links in the box at the right to access the direct debit mandate form.   The completed form should be returned to Housing Finance, 124 Main Street, Coatbridge ML5 3BJ.   Direct Debits are collected from your bank account monthly on the 1st of each month.

By Standing Order - click on the links in the box at the right to access the standing order mandate form.   The completed form should be returned to your bank or building society.  The frequency and due dates of the payments are set by the tenant.

By Telephone - contact the Payment Hotline on 01698 403130 to pay by credit or debit card.   You should have your rent reference number and credit/debit card ready when you call.

Online - our Online Bill Payments system allows you to pay your rent through NorthWeb by credit or debit card.

Housing Benefit - you may be entitled to Housing Benefit to help with your rent if your household income is low.
