What are the aims of Out of Hours Service?
The main aims of the service are to provide an Out of Hours Home Support service for users, carers and home support workers throughout North Lanarkshire and to reduce admissions into residential, nursing care and hospital.
When does the service operate?
The service assists in providing support to clients, carers and Home Support Workers operating all year round, including all day Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
A Home Support Manager for Out of Hours is on duty from:

3.15 pm – 11.15 pm |

Saturday, Sundays & Public Holidays |
7.45 am – 11.15 pm |
To enable a 24 hour home support service, working alongside Area Teams and Out of Hours, the Community Alarm Service will provide a control centre Operator to offer the necessary support and responses to Home Care Staff between 11.15pm and 7.45am.
Is there a charge for the service?
People will be charged according to their income in line with the current Home Care charging policy.
