  • Guide you through the legal requirements attached to your marriage
  • Clearly state our fees.
  • Tailor the ceremony to meet your needs, within the requirements of current legislation.
  • Offer a choice of locations and venues within North Lanarkshire where civil marriages may be performed.
  • Arrange appropriate safety inspections of our premises.

You can assist us by:

  • Contacting the preferred office well in advance of your intended marriage date.
  • Ensuring you discuss with the Registrar any concerns you may have.
  • Identifying in advance any special needs of the bridal party or your guests.
  • Arranging for the bridal party and guests to be punctual on the day
  • Completing our wedding survey, giving your views on our current service and making any suggestions you have for service improvement.
