About Broadwood Stadium

Broadwood is a unique concept: Scotland's largest and most exciting fully integrated development comprising a 200,000 sq ft lochside business park, 100,000 sq ft retail park, over 400 private houses and a selection of additional commercial elements.

The centre piece of the development is Broadwood Stadium.

The 10,000 all seated multi-use stadium complex is being constructed on a phased basis, with the first phase completed in February 1994 and phase 2 in May 1996.

These phases comprise:

  • Three stands which together provide 8,006 seats surrounding the main playing pitch.
  • Car parking for approximately 1200 cars and 50 coaches.
  • An external full-size synthetic football pitch and four 5 A-Side pitches.
  • A purpose-designed gymnastics centre.
  • A leisure centre.

The main East stand - the OKI stand - contains the Stadium and Football Clubs office accommodation, manager/player facilities, bars and 3 large function suites with a range of business and training facilities, meeting rooms, social suites, executive boxes and press and television accommodation; all facilities which are required to operate a multi-use stadium seven days of the week.

Further phases of the stadium development are planned; to possibly include the additional stand (to increase the total capacity to 10,000); and a wide range of leisure/community activities in the remaining 2 corner units.

The wide range of facilities will extend the appeal of Broadwood Stadium to the whole community.
