Birkenshaw Sports Barn : conditions of booking

Bookings for dry sports, health and fitness facilities may be made up to one week in advance by a telephone call or personal visit to the Centre. Payment is required prior to the facility being used.

Due to the pressure of bookings during the initial period a person may make only one 45 minutes booking either by phone or in person. No further booking may be made by that person. Bookings will be dealt within strict rotation, one personal call followed by one phone booking.

Bookings are accepted on the understanding that the person making the booking will participate in the activity booked.

In the event of any advanced booking not being taken up 15 minutes after the booking start time it may be re-allocated.

24 hours notice is required for cancellation of advanced bookings. If less than 24 hours notice is received for any cancellation, the person concerned will be held liable for payment unless the facility can be re-let. Anyone not honouring an advanced booking will be liable for payment for the facility involved. Further bookings will not be accepted from them until payment has been made for dishonoured bookings.
