Answers:

  1. Yes - we can provide an initital introduction and advice session tailored to meet your needs - click on Sports Facilities and select a centre that you wish to use and they will confirm when you can attend an induction couse

  2. Children can start as young as 5 years but we also do adult and baby classes - click on Swimming Pools to select the pool you wish to visit - and then make check when lessons take place

  3. Children 8 years and over are free to enter the water without supervision.

    Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied into the water by a responsible person. This means someone 16 and over, and responsible. That person can supervise a 7 year old or younger in the water.

    Children aged between 4 and 7 must be accompanied by a responsible person, on a maximum two children to one adult basis. This means one responsible adult can supervise two children between the ages of 4 and 7.

    Children under the age of of 4 must be accompanied by a responsible person on a one to one basis. This means a child 3 years old and under must be accompanied by a responsible person on a one-to-one basis.
