Who can apply for a Passport to Leisure?

You can apply for membership to the Passport to Leisure scheme if  you are a residents of the North or South Lanarkshire Council areas, are 16 years or over, and belong to one of the eligible groups listed below.

You will need to show proof that you are eligible. Please note the different documents that you can bring along to the joining centres. Remember you need only bring one item with you. Your documents will be returned to you immediately. In addition you must be able to prove that you are 16 years or over and a resident of North or South Lanarkshire.

ES40, Job Seekers Card, Careers Office Card, Current Giro or Order Book

Income Support

Letter of Entitlement, Order Payment Book, Letter of Confirmation

Person Over 60

Passport, Driving Licence, Birth Certificate, Retirement Pension Book or Current Giro

Working Families Tax Credit

Letter of Entitlement, Letter of Confirmation, Order Payment Book

Widow

Current Giro, Order Book or Notice of Entitlement

Person in receipt of other state pension e.g. war pension

Current Giro, Order Book or Notice of Entitlement showing allowance for other type of pension

Housing Benefits (Council Tax Benefit)

Letter of Rebate

Students (Full-Time)

Form stamped by school or college. College or university matriculation card

Skillseekers

Form stamped or signed by employer

Disabled Person

Current Giro, Order Book or Notice of Entitlement showing allowance for disability

Incapacity Benefit

Current Giro, Order Book or Notice of Entitlement showing allowance for incapacity

Invalid Care Allowance/

Princess Trust Carers Card

Current Giro, Order Book or Notice of Entitlement showing allowance, or Carers Card and proof of North or South Lanarkshire residence
