The Local History Lab at Motherwell Heritage Centre is a reference and research facility run by Museums and Heritage. We provide information on all aspects of the social, political and industrial history of the towns and villages around Bellshill, Motherwell, Shotts and Wishaw.
The lab holds a range of materials including books, photographs, maps, local newspapers, videos, oral history tapes, archival documents and genealogical materials. The collection is available for reference purposes to all members of the public.
