The Motherwell Local History Lab is on the first floor at Motherwell Heritage Centre, High Road, Motherwell. Use the "Map" box on the right hand side of the screen for further information.

Opening Hours
Mondays to Saturdays, 10.00am to 5.00pm (Thursdays to 7.00pm)
The Local studies area is closed on Sundays and Public Holidays. Please note that the Centre is closed on December 25^th & 26^th and January 1^st & 2^nd.
Admission
Admission is free.
Booking
Most items are available for you on demand.
Help With Your Research
We offer to undertake written enquiries on behalf of researchers unable to visit the centre. The first half-hour of staff time is free of charge; thereafter an hourly rate of £12.75 is levied. Please use the "Contact Us" box that appears on the right-hand side of your screen for further information.
Refreshments
There are a number of outlets within a short walking distance that can provide refreshments for readers.
Facilities
Public toilets are available for readers.
Disabled access
Disabled access via ramp to main entrance. Please telephone in advance if you have any special requirements.
