Facilities and Services Available
This is a public lending library for adults, juniors and teenagers. There are books, cassettes, compact discs, videos, computer software, talking books and books in large print for loan. Daily newpapers and magazines are available for your reference. Games consoles and Internet accessible computers (with Office packages) are provided for your use.
The library has photocopying and fax facilities.
At the library shop you can order any book in print in the UK. We also stock a range of local history publications, postcards, maps, stamps and magnifying sheets.
You can advertise sales/wants free for one month at this library. Community noticeboards are also available for advertising community events such as gala days or jumble sales.
We hold regular events within the library such as storytimes for children, exhibitions and museum displays.
A Crime / Thriller Reading Group meets once a month on a Monday at 2pm. For the date of next meeting and book for discussion contact the Library Supervisor.
