Indoor facilities and services

25metre pool
Something for everyone here; train for competition, join in an aqua aerobics class or swim for fitness, health and relaxation.
Teaching pool
Teach the wee ones (or maybe yourself!) to swim in the warmer waters of the learners pool, or enrol in the popular 'Learn To Swim' programme. Ask at Reception for our booklet or more details
Baby pool
Our very youngest customers can discover the fun of warm water here with slides, waterjets and bubble bursts.
Health suite
A spacious facility boasting a 12 person capacity spa bath - in addition to the ever popular sauna and steam cabins. And within the two hour session you may use the pool as well (subject to availability) making it even better value. Open Sunday to Friday 9am to 10pm (note, ladies only Mondays 4.30pm onwards), and open Saturdays 9am to 7.30pm

Suitable for a huge range of sports, classes, clubs and competitions - and non sporting events too! So from hosting a childs party, attending your regular class, holding an event or organising a national competition

Squash courts
With viewing gallery, equally suited to the heated pace of team squash or a bounce game with friends.
Fitness studio
This is fully staffed, spacious and fabulously appointed with a huge range of equipment. On offer are weight resistance and cardio vascular (joggers, bikes, rowers etc) machines to train the body, and fitted with individual entertainment screens to occupy the mind. And there are loose weights too - always a popular option for fitness enthusiasts. An induction course introduces all new users to the equipment, ensuring both a safe and efficient workout. Choose between casual pay-as-you-go use, or maximise your fitness opportunities by joining Access NL - our health and fitness scheme which offers unlimited use of most North Lanarkshire pools, health suites, fitness studios and classes.

An attractively finished area, perfect for a variety of classes.

Floodlit outdoor facilities:
Athletics track
Floodlit, synthetic surface 8 lane championship standard track, complete with high jump fan and throwing cage and areas. Suited for national standard competition together with club activities or individual training purposes.
Outside football
Opened in spring 2006 and specially designed for football, a full size and floodlit synthetic third generation sportspitch offers opportunities for a 11-a-side match or three 7-a-side pitches.
Also on offer are 3 x 5-a-side synthetic, floodlit pitches.
Grass and blaes football pitches are available for booking 7 and 11-a-side games.

Disabled access
The main entrance and all main areas are easily accessible for wheelchair users. Facilities include parking, lifts, poolside hoist, disabled shower, changing and toilet facilities. Wishaw Sports Centre not only has a sports club for people with special needs which meets regularly, but also hosts the annual Wishaw Games, a two day sporting event featuring athletics, boccia, table tennis, bowling and swimming.
