This workshop looks at various aspects of home life in Britain during the 2nd World War and explores themes such as rationing evacuation, the black out, and the role of women. Pupils have a chance to design their own propaganda posters and are taken into a mock air raid shelter where they experience an air raid drill and have the opportunity to handle artefacts from the period.
