Wildlife

We keep records of wildlife in North Lanarkshire, including plants, animals and places.

These records include :

• Sites of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINCs)

Everyone is welcome to contribute to the Biological Records Centre, based at Palacerigg House, Cumbernauld.

Information is available.   There is a small charge for business use.

We work with others to help protect and encourage North Lanarkshire's most endangered wildlife and wildplaces.   We are members of the Local Biodiversity Action Partnership (LBAP).
