The Conservation and Greening Unit will work with groups and individuals to make envrionmental improvements.
We will help you carry out environmental projects through
- displays
- community gardens
- events and activities
- signs
- recycling
- clean ups
- wildflower/tree planting
- paths
Whatever you are thinking of doing, we can offer advice and support including:
- ideas for what you can do
- help with planning your project
- contacts for people who could help
- practical help, including loan of tools
- help to find funding and resources
To date we have worked with community councils, schools and nurseries, residents associations, golf clubs, all council departments, charities, clubs and societies, youth organisations and residential homes.
