Whifflet Community Centre was built as a community hall. This facility is used by the community for such activities as coffee mornings, sequence dancing classes, tai chi, band practice, dance and drama classes, the bridge club, meetings and MSP surgeries. |

Facilities
Whifflet Community Centre has a large main hall, which can be let by the public. Unique in styling this hall is light and spacious with wooden cladding designs dominating the far wall. For the purpose of a dinner dance or disco event this hall can retain a maximum of 90 persons.
In addition to the main hall there is also a small committee room for let. This room is recommended for use by small gatherings or clubs and meetings.
Kitchen facilities in Whifflet Community Centre are suitable for catering or for simply heating through a hot buffet. There is a fridge available if required.
Transport
Whifflet Community Centre is situated in the heart of Whifflet and is highly accessible by public transportation. The local train station is situated directly next to the centre and also there is a bus stop approximately 20 yards away. There are limited car parking facilities at the centre.

With all facilities situated on the ground floor Whifflet Community Centre is suitable for persons with disabilities or requiring wheel chair access. There are disabled access points to the building and disabled toilets.
