Pollock Hall, Condorrat

Some of the events which already take place in the centre include the mother and toddler group, the arthritic care group, the Lanarkshire Mental Health Association, dance classes, senior citizen events, martial arts classes and social functions of all natures.

The Pollock Hall consists of one main hall and one committee room that are both available for hire.

The main hall has a large capacity intake of 140 for a dinner dance or disco event. As the surfaces are durable and hardwearing this hall is suitable for the purpose of sporting activities as well as being comfortable and tastefully decorated for a function.

To the rear of the hall a mobile stage can be set for use by musical accompaniment for an evening or for the purposes of a performance.

The committee room can be used for the purposes of small clubs or meetings and can retain a maximum of 10 persons at any one time.

Kitchen facilities are available and are of catering standards. This makes the Pollock Hall an ideal place for inviting external caterers or for simply indulging guests with a hot buffet for your occasion. There is also a large fridge available if required.

Pollock Hall is situated in the centre of Condorrat and is accessible by public transportation, a bus stop can be found approximately 300 yards form the centre. For patrons travelling to the venue by car there are car-parking facilities directly outside the centre.

This venue is highly suited to persons requiring disabled access. All facilities are located on the ground floor and there are disabled access points to the building. Toilet facilities have also been specially adapted to suit the needs of those with disabilities.
