Mount Ellen Hall

Mount Ellen Hall was built for the purpose of the community and is used by the local and surrounding areas for a variety of purposes. Events taking place in the centre include the youth club, the mother and toddler group, senior citizen events, Citizen Advice Bureau and Councillor surgeries.

Facilities

Mount Ellen Hall is exactly as the title suggests it is a hall for the community. It has a fair capacity intake and can seat up to 90 persons for a dinner dance or 60 persons for the purpose of a disco event.

Kitchen facilities are more for personal use and not suitable for cooking or heating through ready prepared food for a large quantity of guests as there is only a small table top cooker available in the centre. There is a small domestic fridge available if required.

Transport

Mount Ellen Hall is accessible by public transport and a bus stop can be found two minutes form the centre. For patrons travelling to the hall by car, there are limited parking spaces available outside the centre.

Disabled access

North Lanarkshire Council regrets to inform patrons that this centre is not suitable for use by disabled persons as there are no specially adapted facilities.
