| MacTaggart Community Room was built within the community in 1962. This is an ideal venue for smaller functions or meetings within the community. Activities which already take place at the MacTaggart Community Rooms include, the playgroup, the mother and toddlers and self help groups.
Facilities
MacTaggart Community Room consists of one main room, situated on the first floor, which can hold a maximum of 40 persons for a dinner dance or disco.
There are kitchen facilities available to compliment main hall requirements. The kitchen is recommended for re-heating food only and is therefore ideal for catering for hot buffets and heating of ready prepared food. There is a fridge available if required.
Transport
MacTaggart Community Room is situated in the heart of the community and is accessible by public transport. There is a bus stop situated approximately 200 yards from the centre.
