Some of the events that take place in the centre include the playgroup, youth clubs, sewing classes, football meetings, residents meetings, back to work initiatives, the credit union organisation, girls group and discos.

Facilities
Jerviston Community Centre has the capacity to hold up to 100 persons for a dinner dance or disco event in the main hall. There is a stage set to the rear of the hall, which can be used for musical accompaniment for an evening or for the purposes of a performance. The main hall has durable surfaces and is therefore adaptable for any type of let.
There are two committee rooms suitable for small gatherings or clubs and meetings. Committee room one can seat up to 30 persons and committee room two can seat up to 10 persons.
Kitchen facilities are situated directly off the main hall in Jerviston Community Centre are suitable for re-heating prepared food. This makes this centre an ideal place for indulging guests with a hot buffet for your occasion. There is also a fridge available if required.
Transport
Jerviston Community Centre is accessible by public transport and a bus stop can be found approximately 100 yards from the centre. There are also parking facilities available for those travelling to the venue by car.
