Glenboig Community Centre was built for the purpose of the community in 1987 and is one of the most recent additions to the Community Centre facilities. |

Used by the community for a variety of purposes such as carpet bowling, music classes, youth clubs, boxing training, football training, martial arts classes, self-help groups and MP and MSP surgeries.
Glenboig Community Centre can be used for the purposes of social functions. This hall is also suitable for sporting events due to the hardwearing surfaces and durability of the hall.
Facilities
Glenboig Community Centre has a large hall, which is multi-purpose. If this hall is to be used for the purpose of a dinner dance then it is recommended that there is no more than 140 persons retained in the hall. For the purpose of a disco event the maximum allowed in the hall is 240 persons.
There is a bar area available leading from the kitchen which can be used in conjunction with the main hall also. Patrons are reminded that if alcohol is brought onto the premises then there will be an additional fee.
There is a large committee room at the front of the building. This room can be used for the purposes of meetings and surgeries and can hold up to 30 persons for this purpose.
Kitchen facilities are available to compliment main hall requirements and are of catering standard, there is no fridge available in this centre.
Transport
Glenboig Community Centre is accessible by public transportation and a bus stop can be found directly outside the centre. There are also limited car parking spaces in front of the building.

Disabled access
This facility is well suited to persons requiring wheel chair access. There are disabled access points to the building and all facilities are situated on ground level. There are also disabled toilets available.
