Calderbank Community Centre is host to variety of events within the local area, some of these events include; dance classes, local meetings, senior citizen events, advice clinics and councillor and MSP surgeries. Any type of well-organised function would be welcomed to Calderbank Community Centre.
Facilities
Calderbank Community Centre's main hall is situated on the ground floor and is an ideal setting for a social function. This hall has an in-built stage at the rear and is able to seat to up to 120 persons for a dinner dance and 150 for a disco event. The main hall has recently been upgraded with an extensive floor refurbishment.
The lesser hall is situated on the first floor and can retain a maximum of 80 persons for a dinner dance and 90 persons for a disco. There is also a small committee room situated on the first floor, which is suitable for small meetings or business gatherings.
The kitchen facilities available in Calderbank Community Centre have also been recently renovated and upgraded. The kitchen is recommended for re-heating food only, and is therefore ideal for hot buffets and heating through ready prepared food. There is also a small domestic fridge available if required.
Transport
Calderbank Community Centre is situated on the main street and is accessible by public transport with a bus stop found outside the centre. It is advised that timetable instructions are sought before travelling.

Disabled access
There is disabled access to the ground floor of the centre but not to the first floor facilities. There are no disabled toilets available in this facility.
