Braehead Community Room was built in 1968.
This is an ideal venue for smaller social functions or meetings within the community. Activities that take place at the Braehead Community Rooms include dance classes, playgroups and martial arts classes.
Facilities
Braehead Community Rooms consists of one main hall, which can hold a maximum of 50 persons for a dinner dance or 70 for a disco.
There are kitchen facilities available to compliment main hall requirements. This kitchen is recommended for re-heating food only and is therefore ideal for catering for hot buffets and heating of ready prepared food. There is also a domestic fridge available if required.
Patrons are reminded that there is a noise restriction imposed upon this facility due to the close proximity of living quarters.
Transport
Braehead Community Rooms are accessible by public transport and there is a bus stop situated 100 yards form the centre.
