Bargeddie Hall

Address

Coatbridge Road, Coatbridge

Bargeddie Hall was built in 1908 as a dance hall for the community, and was referred to in the 1920's as the Windsor Ballroom.

Bargeddie Hall

Bargeddie Hall is now host to a variety of community based events such as; carpet bowling clubs, senior citizen events, the food co-op, the alpheus shine group, Councillor and MSP surgeries and martial arts classes.

With the unique, authentic styling of this centre Bargeddie Hall makes an ideal venue for any type of well-organised social function or can be adapted to suit the needs of a regular community based activity.

Facilities

The characteristic main hall has unique styling features of the early twentieth century. This style is reflected in the arch of the stage, which makes a superb focal point for a performance or a musical accompaniment to an evening.

The hall can retain a maximum of 120 persons for a sit down meal and dance night and 150 for a disco event. These figures include the dining extension to be found to the right of the hall, which can offer guests a chance to escape from main hall activities without feeling excluded from the overall event.

To compliment main hall requirements there is a separate bar area available. Patrons are reminded that if alcohol is brought onto the premises then there will be an additional license fee.

The kitchen facilities in Bargeddie Hall have recently been renovated as part of an extensive refurbishment programme. They are of catering standard and are therefore ideal for bringing in outside caterers or can be used for simply heating through ready prepared food. There is also a fridge / freezer available if required.

Transport

Bargeddie Hall is accessible by public transportation and a bus stop can be found 50 yards from the centre. It is advised that timetable directions be sought before travelling.
