Abronhill Sheltered Housing Hall

Abronhill Sheltered Housing was built in 1980 and is classed as a hall for use by senior citizens.

This venue is an ideal setting for small functions of a social nature. Events previously held in the hall include; senior citizen events, coffee mornings, jumble sales, craft fairs, AGM's and meetings.

Facilities

Abronhill Sheltered Housing has one main hall available for hire which can hold a maximum of 60 persons for a dinner dance. There is a stage at the rear of the main hall.

Kitchen facilities are available to accompany main hall requirements. These facilities are suitable for catering and there is also a small domestic fridge available.

Anybody wishing to let this centre should be aware that there are noise restriction levels due to the close proximity of residential areas.

Transport

Abronhill Sheltered Housing is accessible for transport at both day and night. A bus stop is situated approximately 100 yards from the centre, which accommodates travelling during the day and for night-time travel a taxi rank is close by. Disabled access

All rooms in Abronhill Sheltered Housing are situated on the ground floor. An access ramp is at the front of the building allowing easy wheelchair access and disabled toilets are also situated in the building.
