DCA's Discovery Film Festival - Scotland's International Film Festival for Children and Young People 2008, proudly presents a selection of short films inspired by all things sinister and vaguely strange.  This special programme for the spooky season presents the full range of animating techniques and styles and includes the classic British short animation The Sandman (1992).  Occasionally bloody and even just plain bizarre, this nonetheless thought provoking selection of short films contains tributes to all aspects of the horror movie genre.  This programme is not recommended for anyone of a very nervous disposition but expect plenty of comedy mements too.
