Brick 1997
Bellshill Cultural Centre, John Street, Bellshill
The brick sculptures announce the Library function of the Bellshill Cultural Centre through their design – two, individual figures, on sitting and one reclining, both engrossed in reading. Each figure is positioned atop a cylindrical brick podium, decorated with the signatures of local school children.
Parking for this artwork can be found to the rear of the Cultural Centre and in public car parks at the town centre.
