This quantitative research has proved extremely useful in identifying customers comments, criticisms, compliments and future expectations of the service provided by North Lanarkshire Council's Community Arts section.
It is recommended that:
- Steps are taken to ensure that Community Arts continues to consult with users of their service to obtain feedback on the Arts Classes they provide. Classes other than Art should be targeted in order to improve the overall service.
- Parking areas should be reviewed in order to ascertain whether the Council could improve the parking situation for service users.
- Steps are taken to ensure that the Comments/Complaints procedure and Service Standards are on display in each facility.
- Steps are taken to further encourage and promote Community Arts classes to the public. Increased marketing or promotion may increase the uptake of classes. This report is not viewed in isolation, but is examined in tandem with the other quantitative and qualitative research, which has been undertaken.
