The targets and performance indicators below have been agreed between North Lanarkshire Council and sportscotland for 2008-09. Our performance against these indicators will be reported annually on the website and in newsletters to school staff, parents and other partners.
· The number of volunteers delivering activities in Active Schools to increase from 1013 to 1250
· 50 qualified adult volunteers to deliver Active Schools activities
· Drop-off in participant sessions between P7 and S1 to reduce from 20,239 to 15,000
· All 24 school clusters to establish at least one pathway into a local community sports club
· Participation of girls and young women in physical activity and sport to increase from 51% to 56% for primary and from 38% to 43% for secondary
· All children and young people with a disability to be identified in target schools and participation in physical activity and sport audited
· 20 ASN volunteers to be trained
· ASN coordinator to attend 2 Active Schools inclusion networking days per year
· NL pupils to attend two disability events
· Every BME pupil to be identified and participation audited
· Pupils with Free Meal Entitlement / clothing allowance to be identified and participation audited in selected schools
· 100 non-participants in extra-curricular sport and physical activity to be identified and start taking part
