St Mary's Primary Airdrie

St Mary's Primary school badge

St Mary's Primary was built in 1954 to provide education for the children in the age range of four and a half to twelve and a half who live in Caldercruix and the surrounding villages. It replaced St Patrick's school, Longriggend which was in a poor state of repair.

Caldercruix is a small community and the school is used for community purposes eg community education classes and ante-natal clinic.
