St Edward's is a co-educational Roman Catholic primary school containing all stages from primary one to primary seven. It's catchment area lies towards the eastern end of Airdrie as far as Clarkston Village. |

The accommodation of the school consists of a main building with 12 classrooms, six of which are in the new semi open plan extension. The capacity of the school is 318. Two classes are used as non teaching area, one of which is a computer base and the other a resource/music/television room. |
